I. Art for Jack is an annual event including children’s art workshops, art exhibits of all varieties, family entertainment, and some featured presentation to promote the arts for children in the local community.  For 2014, Center Stage Opera is generously giving their time and talent to make a presentation at our Art for Jack event, in part to promote the Children’s Choir coming to our community in the fall of 2014, a joint venture between Jack’s Angels and Center Stage OperaM10 Art is a theme that carries into our Project Angel Box program, as you can see below.  It is all part of Jack’s Angels desire to support the arts, especially for children, in it’s activities and support projects.

StageII. Project “Angel Box” has begun as an attempt to reach out to those families who have made contact with our foundation, to send comfort, support, and art supplies and other gifts to DIPG children and their families.  Our hope is to provide baskets, or boxes, to newly diagnosed children and their families finding themselves stuck in the hospital as diagnosis time, with comfort items for the parent such as inspirational literature, quality personal hygiene products, journal and pen, prayer blanket, easily contained art projects and books for the child, etc…and always a hand-crafted angel.  We are still in the planning phase with this part of the project, hoping to have some donations and other creative ideas for the boxes.

III. Jack Box  The “Jack Boxes” are large plastic jars with signs and statements about the urgent need for pediatric brain tumor research.  They are educational, and solicit donations for the DIPG research fund at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  The contents are collected roughly every 90 days or so.

IV. “Go fund me” online fundraiser  for the “Count to a Million!” for DIPG research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
